Lets explore some of the possible Yin Yoga poses depending on your constitution. Please, be gentle with the knees, ankles and lower back. We do not want to feel any pain in these areas. Choose a sensible option and use folded blankets and props to make yourself more comfortable. It is all about feeling the stretch in the quadriceps. Especially relax the quadriceps and hips muscles.<br /><br />If you can't relax, choose a gentler&nbsp;<span>option</span>.&nbsp;<br /><br />When our body is in Fight/flight automatic response mode, the quadriceps can't relax. But keep breathing and trusting that right now there is no need to run, fight or flight. You might feel uncomfortable and with the urge to come out of the pose. Wait a minute, explore, what is the urge? None! Give yourself a couple of minutes (or more!) to reprogram your stress response, trust and keep relaxing! Explore the feeling of letting go the unconscious stress. Remember, it is not about flexibility, it is about feeling the stimulation, and being able to relax into the stretch. &nbsp;<br /><br />This is what big felines do.&nbsp;<br />They relax more than they run or fight.&nbsp;<br />And what a surprise! When they do need to run, their muscles are completely ready! why?
